As a faith family, it is not our responsibility, but our great joy to serve one another each week. We are ONE people, with ONE mission, and we are asking every member to commit to at least ONE area of service for ONE year. This is the only way we can fulfill the mission God has given us.

ATTEND volunteer training, August 4th or 11th from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
* All preschool, children, & student volunteers must complete a Background Check before the training.
Volunteers serve on a schedule determined by the ministry area.
Care for children (birth through Pre-K). Lay foundations in preschooler's lives creating a loving and secure environment and help them learn biblical truths.
Will assist in a large group setting and teach lyrics and motions to music or teach a Bible lesson. ( puppet and drama opportunities also available)
Help young families feel welcome and secure as they check in and guide guests to the appropriate room.
To enhance the learning experience of preschoolers while working along side adult leadership in classrooms.
Caring for preschoolers during special events throughout the year and Women's ministry classes.
Loving individuals who will invest in preschooler families periodically throughout the year.
Community Group Leaders will be responsible for teaching grade-level specific groups of children in Kindergarten – 5thgrades during their assigned hour. Each leader will be trained on how to use The Gospel Project curriculum for each group. Welcome Desk workers will be responsible for greeting visitors, properly entering family information and implementing security procedures for the Prince Kids ministry. It is preferable for there to be both a male and female worker at each service time for this position.
Special needs volunteers are responsible for showing Christ’s love to children in this ministry and the families that we serve. Volunteers will be placed with trained leaders to serve in this ministry.
Grade-Level group leaders will be responsible for leading Wednesday night programming for grade K-5thin the fall. Leaders will be trained on how to use the curriculum for this event.
Create a welcoming experience so students feel seen and known. Help run student check in and get guests connected.
Build relationships with a specific group of students, specific by grade and gender, on a weekly basis. Facilitate community through spiritual conversations and sermon-based lessons.
Create fun and focused worship environments for students. Run sounds, lights, Propresenter, etc.
Help students feel included and connected to community.Facilitate games, conversations and fun activities.
Lead a group of adults or college students to trust and follow Christ by ministering the word to the group and leading them to live in community together.
Our media team is responsible for all of the technical aspects of the worship service. They are a vital part of the worship ministry and work closely with the music team to achieve the vision of our pastor for Sunday morning worship. Responsibilities of our media team include live audio mixing, lighting operation, camera operation, and screen display of song lyrics and videos. No prior skill set is necessary for most of these positions and we are happy to train anyone willing to serve.
The Worship Choir is a group of faithful, multi-generational people dedicated to leading our congregation in worship through music. This is one of the key distinctions of Prince’s worship ministry. There is no prerequisite skill or audition necessary to be in the choir. The only additional commitment is Wednesday night rehearsal from 6:15pm-7:45pm starting August 14. If you love singing, we would love to have you!
If you are a trained musician and are interested in serving in our worship ministry, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for any and all musicians regardless of skill level.
Welcome Center volunteers register guests, assist people with information about our church, and help guest locate specific areas of the building.
A warm smile and friendly welcome are vital to reflect the heart of Prince to regular attendees and guests. If you enjoy meeting new people, greeting guests at the door is a great place to volunteer.
Be the first smiling face that people see on Sunday mornings! Help deliver a smooth traffic experience for guests and regular attendees.
Make the worship service an extraordinary experience by helping people feel at home, find a seat, distributing bulletins, and take offerings.
Are you EMT certified, a nurse, or a physician? Could you serve our church by responding to medical emergencies on Sunday mornings? Scheduling is flexible.
Get involved with the Sunday morning Jittery Joe coffee production. Build community by meeting and talking with guests visiting Prince. The coffee shop is a great place to build and friendships!
Pick up and return residents from Lanier Gardens/Talmadge Terrace retirement center.
Make sure that all necessary baptismal equipment and facilities are available and ready prior to each baptismal service. Perform necessary cleanup after the baptism.
Pray with individuals as they come to the front of the sanctuary during the invitation portion of the service. Be ready to walk them through the gospel or our membership pathway when applicable.
